Vertent Media Soft Pvt Ltd and Park Media Pvt Ltd will be launching a first of its kind matrimonial channel named ‘Shagun’ in 2013.
Vertnent and Park Media are invoved in making audio and visual shows. With Shagun, the companies are venturing into full-fledged lifestyle/entertainment channel space. The channel’s target audience includes youngsters to the elderly.
The channel’s flavour and feel will take inspiration from the fact that in India weddings are a grand and lavish affair.

The channel has been conceptualised, conceived and promoted by Anuranjan Jha. It is India’s first matrimonial channel which features pre-nuptial and post-nuptial programmes, issues, relevant information and shares the happiness around it.
The launch of the channel is complemented by the launch of a dedicated website called http://www.shagunindia.com. The portal aims to be a one stop destination for finding a suitable match and for help with planning a wedding.
